TIFF.40 Round Up: Art/Film Critic Meraj Dhir Checks Out NKPR’s IT LOUNGE at 40th Toronto International Film Festival

The NKPR IT Lounge is back! And in its tenth year, the IT Lounge is housed at Festival headquarters as part of a strategic partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival. Celebrating their 40th year, TIFF will work with NKPR to create an exclusive anniversary Festival experience.

The IT Lounge is once again working with W Magazine and photographer Caitlin Cronenberg. Having featured the photographic works of Steven Meisel, Steven Klein, Bruce Weber and countless others, W Magazine will feature Cronenberg’s photographs of some of the most highly anticipated film festival and IT Lounge attendees. Recently featured in The New York Times for her upcoming photography book about the aftermath of romantic breakups, The Ending, Cronenberg will create classic portraits that are packed with an emotional punch. Always one to experiment, Cronenberg will also have a few surprises up her sleeve for IT Lounge attendees that are game.

“Working in partnership with TIFF on the tenth anniversary of the IT Lounge is a significant milestone for NKPR,” says IT Lounge founder and NKPR president, Natasha Koifman. “Over the years, the IT Lounge has become a must-go-to destination for visiting talent. In previous years, IT Lounge guests have had portraits created by renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier and internationally-acclaimed style snappers The Coveteur.
