EASY PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Wordpress adding products interface
All users who have ‘manage’ access to your Shoppe can add/edit products. Learn how to add and manage products HERE.
Vendors can add products at their discretion. You must, however, initially have your products and services approved by Delectant to ensure their offerings align with Delectant’s mission and quality standards. The initial process is:
Vendor creates a product that is Pending Review after submission to Delectant.
Email is sent to the Delectant, notifying us that a Vendor has submitted a product.
Delectant approves or declines the product. If approved, an email is sent to the Vendor that it’s ready for public view.
Once Delectant is satisfied that your products and/or services fully align with the established standards you will be invited to add products and/or services without the initial approval step. Delectant, however, will always retain the right to approve or decline a product or service even after it is public. If a product or serviced is declined Delectant will recommend you remove it.
Delectant helps you sell a full range of products.
Delectant provides Vendors with regular sales reports, via WooCommerce, to afford you the ability to monitor your Shoppe’s performance month-to-month – graphs and stats. Each report has three sections: Orders, Customers and Stock.
Commissions are set and managed by Delectant, at the product, vendor and site-wide levels.
Delectant negotiates commissions and a payment schedule (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly) with each Vendor independently. Vendors must have a PayPal account to receive direct deposit payments from sales.
SIMPLE PAYPAL SET-UP
Delectant uses a built-in PayPal Mass Payments gateway to pay commissions.
Vendors must have a PayPal account of any type to receive Instant Payments and Scheduled Payments. Go to PayPal.com to sign up or verify that the email address is correct on your existing account.
MULTIPLE SHOPPE ROLES
WooCommerce adds a few user roles to the WordPress interface. These relate specifically to orders, products and settings, and are limited to the Vendor’s Shoppe account. You set these roles under Products > Vendors.
Vendors are able to independently edit and mange their own products and Shoppes. Each Vendors’ Admin panel is private – visible only to that Vendor and Delectant.
A Vendor can have one of two different roles:
Vendor Admin – Has access to all settings: Orders, Reports, Media, Products, Store Settings, Support (when users contact the store admin), and Profile
Vendor Manager – Has limited access to the Vendor dashboard: Orders, Media, Products, and Profile.
A single Delectant user with one user account can be set up to manage multiple Shoppes if needed, switching between Shoppes to which they have access.
SEAMLESS SHIPPING FULFILLMENT
Vendors are responsible for fulfilling and shipping/sending orders after a customer has completed their transaction.
Per Product Shipping is enabled on Delectant – shipping costs are passed to the Vendor, and the Vendor has the ability to add their own rates per product. See below.
PER PRODUCT SHIPPING
Vendors set their own shipping costs per product. You set this Product Data under Shipping > Shipping Rules.
